The artist makes each walking stick at home but, sells them at shops and festivals throughout the year. Pre-decorated sticks, pricing below, are available at several shops located in North Carolina. Among them,The Old Buggy Inn (a Victorian B&B) in Carthage and The Cricket's Nest in Winston-Salem. As the artist expands Deep River Walking Sticks into more locations, the website will be updated to include them. Also, listed below are the sizes, prices and selection options for custom ordered walking sticks. Prices for Pre-decorated Walking Sticks
Children's Sticks, (up to 40 inches) - $25.00 each
Adult's Sticks, (from 41 inches to 60 inches) - range from $40.00 to $50.00 each
Adult Staffs, (over 60 inches) - $65.00
These Deep River Walking Sticks are pre-decorated with a variety of animal and nature themes. The pricing depends on the length and number of designs on each stick. Check the sticks hang tag for more information about each stick. Brochures, including a price list, and artist's business cards are available at locations in Robbins and at the festival or event booths sites. Each stick is signed and dated by the artist. The sticks all have a polyurethane sprayed finish to preserve the drawings and protect the sticks from moisture. The five polyurethane layers applied on each stick, are either a clear coat or oak stain finish, creating a glossy or semi-gloss surface.

Prices for Custom Order Sticks
As a tribute to your beloved pets, the artist will customize a walking stick with your own pets image. Just provide the artist with a photo of your pet. Or, select from nature scenes, vines and flowers, camping themes, birds, animals, fish, insects, reptiles, canoe or kayaks, sports themes, your own pet, special contest or event themes including winning times, etc.
The sticks are carved using an assortment of hardwoods. Select from Dogwood, Sweetgum, Maple, Oak or Heritage Applewood. Contact the artist for hardwood availability. Choose from clear coat or oak stain finish.
You determine the length of your Deep River Walking Stick. For optimum comfort when carrying a walking stick, your elbow should be at a 45 degree angle when holding the stick. Usually allow 4 to 6 inches of the stick above your hand to get your perfect length.
Each Deep River Walking Stick has a leather strap and is signed and dated by the artist.

Canes
The artist can also personalize your own existing wooden cane or walking stick using the same wood burning technique used on the Deep River Walking Sticks. What a special gift for a loved one! To customize your own cane, prices range from $25.00 to $35.00 each, depending on the length of the cane and number of designs selected.
Cutting Boards
Hardwood or bamboo cutting boards can be decorated by the artist using the same wood burning technique. Your pets image can decorate a cutting board. Custom orders range in prices from $55.00 to $75.00 each, depending on size of the board and number of images desired.
On Pre-decorated cutting boards: A pets, single head design, is priced at $35.00 each and a full body pet design is priced at $45.00 each. Contact the artist for more information.
